I am sharing today a new post regarding Revised Basic Pay Scales 2023 Punjab Govt Pakistan. So, the Punjab government has issued a notification about the revised BPS 2023. Therefore, all employees will get a new salary with effect from 01-07-2023.
However, Muslim League-N has announced to merger of allowances and a new pay scale chart for 2023 after 2017. So, all employees have been demanding this for the last few years.

In other words, the P and Pension Commission has finalized the demands of employees. So, the finance minister announced these proposals in the assembly on 10th June 2023.

However, the government has decided to merge two ad-hoc relief allowances in the budget for 2022. So, the government has merged allowances ARA-2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021 @10%, and revised basic pay scales 2017.
Similarly, the finance ministry agrees to freeze the allowances ARA-2016 and 2017 now. In Dunya news, it has been confirmed that the government will do it for employees of Pakistan in the budget 2022-23.
You know that there is no pay scale chart for 2020. Therefore, the government revised the pay scale chart in 2017 and announced a new pay scale chart in 2022. You may say that these are the pay scale chart 2022 in pdf.
After 2017, the government has not revised these pay scales. Therefore, it was necessary to merge allowances and a revised pay scale chart in 2022.
