Punjab government has announced 15% Punjab Special Allowance 2022 on running Basic Pay. So, the cabinet has approved a total 30% salary increase for employees of Punjab province.
However, the PTI government has increased this allowance from 1st June 2021 on initial basic pay. But the present government has decided to increase 15 pc on running basic pay w.e.f. 1st March 2022.
Punjab Special Allowance 2022 on running Basic Pay
In addition, the government has decided to give arrears on that special allowance of the previous year. Therefore, the employees will get one year of arrears on that special allowance. At that time, Usman Buzdar decided to give an initial basic pay of pay scale 2017.
In other words, Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz has decided to give that relief on running basic pay. So, all employees are happy to know that. They are saying that is a big relief in this inflation rate.
