However, the notification for Grade 8 & grade 5 has issued. Therefore, the school education department is starting the PEC exam 2021 in two ways.

- LSA (Large Scale Assessment)
- SBA (School Based Assessment)
LSA (Large Scale Assessment):
Firstly, the large-scale assessment will be used for the PEC exam in 2021. So, the PEC will conduct the exam of selected students from all over Punjab. The PEC team will conduct this type of exam. The department has started training supervisory staff all over Punjab.
In other words, after this test, the result of selected students will be considered as a result of the whole class. So, this exam will start on May 3 and ended on May 6, 2021. An auto system will select the students in this regard.

SBA (School Based Assessment):
The 2nd procedure is SBA. In this assessment, PEC will assess all subjects of class 1 to class 8. In this regard, PEC will provide an item bank to the headteacher. Similarly, PEC will give assessment patterns for all classes.
The school will select questions for a paper of students from the item bank. However, the school will make papers on some elective subjects.
Above all, It is necessary to clarify that PEC will conduct this exam as per ALP (Accelerated Learning Program). You may say the smart syllabus exam in 2021.
