I am sharing this information regarding the smog holiday notification today 2023 in Punjab Pakistan, So, the government issued a notification on 7th November 2023. After that, they further clarified that notification on 9th November today.

However, the primary and secondary health department has taken a further step to move forward and they have written the following letter in this regard.
GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB PRIMARY AND SECONDARY HEALTHCARE DEPARTMENT
Lahore the 9th November, 2023
ORDER NO.S0(G)/P&SHD/4-112023. In continuation of this branch order of Even No. and dated 7th November 2023, the competent authority is pleased to exempt call centers and international IT centers by inserting the following para 4(e)(1).
- In the closed areas the following shall be exempted from this order:
(1) Pharmacies/ clinical shops, medical centers and Vaccination facilities, Petrol Pumps, Oil Depots, Tandoors, Bakeries, Grocery / Karyana stores, Milk / Dairy stores, sweet shops, Vegetable / Fruit shops, chicken /Meat Shops, E-commerce / Postal / Courier Services and Utility Services (Electricity, Natural Gas, Internet, Cellular Networks / Telecom, international IT Centers, and call centers). 2. The rest of the orders shall remain relevant as such.
