The Ministry of Education government of Pakistan will issue a notification for winter vacations in 2021 soon. So, I shall share here for schools and colleges as well as university students. Similarly, all semi-government with private institutes will follow the same notification inshallah.
However, the government issued the notification in December. As you know December is the last month of the year. So, the Pakistan government agreed to issue a notification as per the area situation. Therefore, provinces like Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, and Gilgit Baltistan issue their winter vacation notifications independently.
Notification Winter Vacations 2021 School Education Department
In addition, the Punjab government issued a notification last year in 2020. That notification shows the holiday schedule from 24th December to 5th January. Similarly, the Sindh government agreed to close institutes till December 31. Therefore, the private school will also follow these instructions. If they will not agree to follow then the government will address them in this regard.

Notification of Winter Vacations in the secondary and elementary schools Education Department KPK, Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, GB, and FATA
As per the Notification Government of KPK School, Education Department No. SO(G)F & SED/1-48/2013.winter vacations. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secondary and Elementary Education Department notifies the following schedule of winter vacations for the academic year 2021-2022 for all the Government and private sector schools within said provinces like KPK.
Plain Areas in Khyber PakhtunkhwaA. Winter vacations 19th Dec to 31st Dec
Hilly. Snowy Areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
B. Winter vacations 19th Dec to 28th Feb

Punjab Province 2021-22 Winter Vacations:
The government of Punjab will announce soon. I shall share here the updated news. However, the education minister announced the 25 December first holiday last year 2020.
KPK Province 2021-22 Vacations in Winter season:
As I have shared information above regarding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. So, the government will announce the same dates this year too. Therefore, all students in KPK will follow the above schedule. I hope that institutes will be closed till January 2021.
Sindh Government Holidays 2021:
The Sindh government will announce till 31 December 2021 for the winter holidays schedule. If there is any change I shall update here.

Holidays Extension this year:
Above all, the students enjoy holidays in December every year. So, this is due to the cold weather in the country. Therefore, the education department in the whole country relaxes the rules for students in schools, colleges, and universities.
Still, there is no updated news regarding holiday extensions for the students this year. Therefore, I am sharing the old schedule with the students. As you know there is a pandemic of COVID-19 in the country. Similarly, a smog situation spreads in Pakistan too. So, the government takes action on it according to the situation of the different areas.
AJK and FATA with Gilgit Baltistan:
In these above areas, the students observe long winter vacations, because there are big hilly areas. So, the government of provinces announces holidays from 15 of December.
