Guidelines for Pay Fixation of Employees have given working on Deputation Basis. The Government of Pakistan Finance Division (Regulation Wing) has issued an office memorandum F.No. 4(9) R-2/2018-417. So, it has issued on 29 June 2021.
However, the government has given proper guidelines to fix the pay of an employee on deputation.

In addition, the pay fixation 2021 of an employee of Provincial Government. Similarly, an employee of an autonomous, semiautonomous body or corporation. So, they say any other organization set-up established owned, managed, or controlled. The Federal Government who has appointed on deputation basis against a civil post shall be fixed as per following guidelines:’
- Civil and old posts must have the same or equivalent grade or BPS. The equivalency of pay scales of both the old and Clod posts determined in consultation with Establishment and Finance Divisions. b. The employee must have regular employment in his parent’s department. c. Such an employee will draw as pay the stage of the time-scale of a new post which is equal to his substantive pay in respect of the old post. If there is no such stage the stage next below that pay plus personal pay equal to the difference. Similarly, in either, the case will continue to draw that pay until such time as he would have received an increment in the time-scale of the old post or for the period after which an increment is earned in the time-scale of the new post, whichever is less. d. If the minimum pay of the time-scale of the new post is higher than his substantive pay in respect of the old post, he will draw that minimum pay of the pay scale.
- AGPR will fix pay as per the above guidelines. Only those cases will be referred to Finance Division which requires clarification.
