The interior ministry issues notification regarding Eid-ul-Azha Holidays. So the federal government agreed to give holidays from 29th June to 1st July. After the demand of employees, these holidays have been extended.
Extension in Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2023:
Good news for government employees, the federal government has extended the Eid-ul-Azha holidays and announced a holiday on Wednesday, June 28.
The government approved the holidays from June 28 to July 1 after revising the Eid-ul-Adha holiday notification.
In the new notification issued by the Cabinet Division, it has been said that there will be a 3-day official holiday on Eid at the federal level, and federal employees will have a holiday from Wednesday to Friday.
According to the notification, four holidays have been announced for offices working six days in a week, for offices working six days, there will be a holiday from June 28 to July 1, Wednesday to Saturday.
It should be noted that earlier the government had announced the three-day holiday of Eid-ul-Qurban from June 29 to July 1, for which a formal notification was also issued.
Old Eid-ul-Azha Holidays Notification Interior Ministry Pakistan
The Pak government interior ministry has issued a notification regarding Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2021. So, a real notification has been attached here on this page. Some are spreading wrong information on social media. Be aware of them.
However, the government has issued three-day holidays on Eid. So, the employees will celebrate Eid from 20 July to 22nd July 2021.
Eid-ul-Azha Holidays 2021 Notification Interior Ministry Pakistan

The interior ministry of Pakistan issued this notification on 13th July. So, this notification 01/01/2020-public is being shared for the Holi festival of Eid. Therefore, the employees of Pakistan will enjoy till 23rd July.

In addition, the maximum number of people were expecting that the government will announce holidays from 20th July to 26th July. Similarly, some were expecting 9-day holidays this Eid. But the government has announced only three-day holidays here in the notification below.

Notification For Punjab Employees:
However, the services and general administration have issued a notification. So, this is a notification regarding the Eid holidays 2021. Therefore, all Punjab employees will celebrate Eid ul Azha from 20th July to 22nd July.
In addition, the press release continued on 16th July 2021. So, this is a notification SOW-I(S&GAD)1-3/2008(P-II) of Eid-ul-Azha 1442 Hijri.
Notification For Sindh Employees:
Similarly, the Sindh govt has issued a notification CTC(SGA&CD)3(27)/2009 on 16th July 2021. So, this provincial govt has announced the same days for Eid holidays 2021 as in Punjab and the federal above.
