Notification Disparity Reduction Allowance 2021 Federal Employees. The government of the Pakistan Finance Division (Regulations Wing) has issued a notification regarding disparity reduction allowance. So, a Notification F. No. 14(1) R-3/2021 has issued on 03-03-2021.
However, the subject of this office memorandum is the grant of disparity reduction allowance. The undersigned has directed to convey the approval of the Federal Government for grant of Disparity Reduction Allowance. This DRA has approved @ 25% of the base pay of Basic Pay Scales 2017. So, this increase has implemented from 01-03-2021.
Notification Disparity Reduction Allowance 2021 Federal Employees
In addition, this allowance shall be admissible to civil employees in BPS 1-19 of the Federal Government. This includes employees of the attached departments & Federal Secretariat. Who has never allowed additional allowance/allowances equal to or more than 100% of the basic pay? This performance allowance has subjected to the following conditions.
Terms and Conditions:
- a) This Allowance will not be admissible to the employees of the organizations as mentioned in Annexure-I and those employees who are drawing additional allowance/allowances equal to or more than 100% of the basic pay(whether frozen or otherwise);
- b) This allowance will be frozen at the level drawn on 1 March 2021.
- c) This Allowance will be subject to Income Tax;
- d) This Allowance will be admissible during leave and the entire period of L.P.R. except during extraordinary leave,
- e) This Allowance will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension/Gratuity and recovery of House Rent.
- f) This Allowance will not admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting/deputation abroad;
- g) The Allowance to the employees from posting or deputation on repatriation. It is abroad at the rate and amount. Which would have been admissible to them. Had they not posted abroad?
- h) The Allowance admissible during the period of suspension.
- I) “Basic Pay” term includes Personal Pay. It has granted on account of the annual increment (s). So, it is beyond the maximum of the existing pay scales.
- All the Principal Accounting Officers and Heads of the Departments are requested to ensure the compliance of a letter.
- Any issues arising out of the implementation of Disparity Reduction Allowance will be resolved by a committee notified vide O.M.No.F.14 (1)0-3/2021- 91 dated 3rd March 2021.
