Dr. Murad Raas has changed the decision to open a school in Punjab due to extreme weather conditions all over the province. So, today 6 January 2020, Schools were open after winter holidays in the schools across the province from 20 December to 05 January 2020.

School Winter Holidays 2020:

In Punjab, there was rain and drizzling from today morning. It was difficult to reach for students and teachers today. Therefore, many teachers reached the school after traveling a long distance and teaching as usual.
However, there was a cold and harsh weather condition in the province of Punjab and all over the country today. 
In other words, these circumstances changed the mind of education minister Dr. Murad Raas and he decided to close all the schools for one week more. Now in the notification,
Lastly, it was mentioned by the authorities to reopen the school on 13th January 2020. 6 January was a working day for school teachers and students. So it was mentioned in the notification that the winter holidays in all private and public schools will be spent from 07th January to 12th January 2020. All private and public schools will reopen on 13th January Monday.
This notification no. is SO (A-I) 1-31/2008. Muhammad Abbas Ashraf Section officer (ACAD) has signed this notification of winter holidays extension 2020.
