In the country, an extension in winter vacations has been observed in December every year. So, this year it has also observed short winter vacations of the summer zone. Similarly, long winter vacations in the hilly areas of Pakistan. Now some of the provincial governments have extended these winter holidays from 2019-2020. Due to the prevailing situation of the weather of the country. The Ministry of Education of the country has a schedule of winter holidays. Every year for all public and private educational institutions.
Extension Winter Vacations 2020 in Pakistan Public Holidays Colleges
This is a relaxation for the students before the exam and preparation for the annual examination. Students visit different historical places in the country during these holidays. So, the government of Pakistan has said that authorities must take strict action. They will take action against all educational institutions which are not following the schedule of these winter holidays. So, open their institutions. It will be against government rules and educational policy.
KPK Educational Vacations 2020 Extension:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Private & Public Regulatory Authority of Schools and Higher Education has issued a notification for an extension of vacations 2019-2020. It is said that there is harsh cold weather in the province so it is necessary to extend the winter holidays for the schools, colleges, and universities boys & girls in the summer zone areas. The extension of winter holidays in the province is up to 07-01-2020 and all educational institutes will re-open on 8 January 2020.
Punjab School & Colleges Vacations 2020:
Winter vacations for Punjab schools and colleges have been decided up to 5 January 2020. Therefore, all educational institutes will re-open on 6 January 2020. On the other hand, an extension in holidays has not been considered. Because the education minister said that I have given maximum winter holidays this year. So, there is no extension in schools.
Higher education in Punjab first followed the notification of April 2019. The holidays are up to 31st December 2019 but after cold weather in Punjab, Higher education announced an extension in the holidays.
Sindh Educational Winter Vacations 2020:
In Sindh province, the vacations of winter were announced from 22nd December 2019 to 31st December 2019 and it was said that all educational institutes will reopen on 1 January 2020. After winter vacation schools & colleges reopen on the same date and there was no extension in the winter holidays of 2020. The Sindh Secretary of Education has rejected the extension news in the provincial schools and colleges.
Balochistan Educational Institutes Winter Holidays 2020:
In Balochistan province, the winter holidays were being observed till 31st December 2019 but due to harsh cold weather, it was decided to extend these holidays up to 10th January 2020. Now schools in Balochistan will reopen on 11th January 2020. Director schools said that extensions will be done in the cold areas of the province for kids.
