The School Education Department of the Punjab government has issued a Notification for Winter Vacations 2019-20. So, a Notification was issued on 13 December 2019. This Notification number was SO A-I(1-31)/2008. Therefore, It has been decided due to the heavy cold weather in Punjab. It has been said that it is very difficult for the students of Punjab to carry on a study in these circumstances.

The Secretary of Schools Punjab said that the winter holidays 2019-20 will start on 20th December. He said that 20th December will be the first holiday of the winter holidays 2019-20. She also said that the government of Punjab has announced winter vacation 2019-20 and notification in this regard has been issued.
It is said that all public and private schools will avail these winter holidays from 20th December to 05th January 2020. January 5, 2020, will be the last holiday of these winter vacations 2019-20.
