In addition, a civil servant dies in service. So, they have declared invalidated or incapacitated for future service, one unemployed child. Similarly, a widow or wife needs to try to have service. Under Rule, 17-A rules 1974 of Punjab Civil Servants Service, Rules as under,
- I) 10 additional marks will be added in aggregate by the PPSC Punjab Public Service Commission or it will be the relevant Selection Board or Committee provided that he or she qualifies in the test or examination and interview for the posts in BS-6 and above.
BS-1 to BS-11 Employees:
II) Provided that a job against a post having BS-1 to BS-11 in a department or office. So, an office that has a government deceased servant who was working there. Therefore, without formalities observance prescribed in the rules or the procedure provided such as the widowed or wife and child is eligible for the post otherwise.
‘This issue about the admissibility of a benefit of a job under a given Rule 17A of these rules based on regularization in a court law remained under litigation. So, the LHC High Court Lahore allowing Writ Petition No.51484.019, has directed the Government asunder.

However, the services of the employees who were appointed under the benefit of Rule 17A of the Civil Servants of province Punjab (Service Conditions) as per Rules 1974 forthwith irrespective. So, all of them have completed three or four years of service and not after 2009 as their contract employment regularly. Under Rule 17A they shall be regularly ibid.
Accordingly, the Punjab CM Chief Minister has been pleased to approve that the order LHC High Court Lahore dated 20-09-2019 may be implemented and a circular letter may be issued in this regard to all concerned for compliance
