Approval of Chief Minister of Punjab regarding B.F 2019 Grants Revised Rates
Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar has given approval regarding various grants revised rates out of the Benevolent Fund for all regular employees of this Punjab province. So, these revised rates BF detail has given below:
The department emphasized the need of knowing the financial implications & the rate we revised/Increased. The representative of the Irrigation Department joined the Finance Department and seconded the viewpoint of the Finance Department. However, the Chart Intimated all the participants that such working for financial implications has already been made and discussed with the finance Secretary the Secretary Services Also showed Concern over the low rates of various grants of Benevolent funds. The Board unanimously agreed on the increase mentioned below
1. Funeral Grant:
All Regular Govt. Employees Rs.50, 000 for basic Pay Scale 1 to 22
2. Marriage Grant:
All Regular Govt. Employees Rs.100000 for basic Pay Scale 1 to 15, Rs.150000 for basic Pay Scale 16 to BPS-22
3. Monthly Grant:
All Regular Govt. Employees Rs.5000 for basic Pay Scale 1 to 10,
Rs.7500 for basic Pay Scale 11 to 15,
Rs.10000 for basic Pay Scale 16 to 22
4. Educational Scholarships:
All Regular Govt. Employees’ children Rs.5000 (Only orphans) Pre-matric and Rs.10000 Post matric for basic Pay Scale 1 to 15,
Rs.20000 to (Only Orphans) Pre-matric and Rs.50000 Post matric for basic Pay Scale 16 to 22
A Notification has not been issued but it will be soon here next week.
It was further approved that Scholarship Grants may not be allowed beyond 16 Years of education and to the Students who are receiving stipends, / internship fees Such as C.An etc.
