Sub: POSTING / TRANSFER OF TEACHERS IN THE SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT IN RELAXATION OF BAN
Chief Minister Punjab has been pleased to relax the ban on transfers/postings for the teachers who could not submit their applications for transfers as per schedule issued by this Department vide Notification 21.03.2018.
Schedule for processing of new transfer applications is as under.-
PROCESS with TIMELINES:
· Receipt of transfer applications by the Competent Authority; prescribed under the Transfer Policy, 2013. Applications contrary to the policy will not be entertained. Nov, 13 to Nov 30, 2018
· Scrutiny of applications Dec 1st to Dec 8, 2018
· Display of Merit Lists and placement on Notice Boards and websites Dec 10th, 2018
· Receipt of Objections Dec 11th to Dec 15th, 2018
· Removal of Objections; if any Dec 17th to Dec 201h, 2018
· Issuance of Transfer Orders by the respective Competent Authorities and placement on Notice Boards and websites Dec 21st to Dec 24th, 2018
· Appeals against the Transferring Authority before the next Appellate Authority Dec 26th to Dec 27th, 2018
· Decisions of Appeals Dec 28th to Dec 29th, 2018
· Joining Till Dec 31st, 2018
Transfer Policy Statement:
3. Chief Minister has further been pleased to direct that all Competent Authorities for the different categories and grades in SED for the transfers/postings of the teachers shall be personally responsible to ensure that all postings/transfer shall be made as per the Transfer Policy, 2013 dated 17.04.2013 as changed now and again inside the affirmed courses of events alluded above, entirely on legitimacy and according to endorsed set down criteria. If there should arise an occurrence of any deviation from the Transfer Policy, 2013, concerned Authority will be continued under the arrangement of the PEEDA Act, 2006.
