Notification No. CIC(SGA&CD)6(74)/2011 is issued by the Government of Sindh Services & General Administration & Coordination Department dated 23rd December 2016.
Public Holiday Announced by Sindh Government on 27th December 2016
Sindh Government has been contented to affirm 27th December 2016 (Tuesday) since the public holiday right through the area of Sindh on the time of Shahadat of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for all office, independent, Semi-Autonomous Bodies, corporation, and Local Councils under the Administrative control of rule of Sindh.
Schedule of vacations and Holidays 2017 & 2018:
In addition, The Schedule of vacations and Holidays for the year 2017 has given by the Secretary of Schools Sindh Education Department Government of Sindh.
Decisions:
1. Summer vacations observed from 01-06-2017 to 31-07-2017.
2. So, The decision with regard to winter vacations took in the special steering committee meeting. So, held in the third week of November 2017 on the basis of the advice of the Meteorological department. After having the meeting with the secretary school education department in the week of November 2017.
Eid Holidays Notification:
However, a Notification has issued by the Government of Sindh Services and General Administration Coordination Department on 29-06-2016 about Eid Holidays. Notification of Eid Holidays Government of Sindh
Therefore, The government of Sindh has been declared 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th July 2016 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as public holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr throughout the province of Sindh for all offices.

Summer Vacations:
Similarly, A Notification No. SO(B&U)/EDU/9-3/2015 is issued by the Government of Sindh Education and Literacy department about Summer Vacations in all educational institutions of a province.

In other words, With the approval of competent authority, summer vacations for all public and private institutions of Sindh. So, these hereby rescheduled with effect from 19th May to 24th July 2016 instead of 1st June 2016 to 31st July 2016 due to the prevailing current heatwave. All the educational institutions shall open on 25th July 2016.
Change of Nomenclature for the Post:
Above all, a Notification No. SO/c-I/CMS/CVO/t20/2017 has issued by chief Minister Secretariat Karachi dated 23-06-2017.
Change of Nomenclature of IT and Computer Science Teacher Post Sindh Education Department
Therefore, It has submitted to the Secretary School Education Department Government of Sindh Karachi.
Subject: Change of Nomenclature for the Post of IT/ Computer Science Teacher BS-17 to Head Master /Subject Specialist BS-17.
Lastly, It has directed to refer to this chief minister’s secretariat. This letter of even number dated 29-03-2017 on the subject noted above.
So, It has requested to kindly take necessary action in the matter, as per rules and policy under intimation to this secretariat at the earliest, please.
