The government of Pakistan has decided to announce winter vacations. So, the government has issued a notification of Long and short holidays in December. As there are federal, Punjab, KPK, Balochistan, and Sindh governments. Some of the notifications from different dates have been shared here.
However, the Punjab government has not issued such a notification. But I shall share information regarding winter vacations 2021.
Notification of Long & Short Winter Vacations in Pakistan
First of all, I shall share information regarding the federal government & winter vacation in Punjab 2021. The federal government has announced these holidays w.e.f 3rd January 2022. So, the federal directorate of education has issued a notification here.
Punjab Government:
Winter Vacation in Punjab 2021
Similarly, the Punjab government has decided in this regard. So, Dr. Murad Raas has tweeted on his official Twitter.23rd account.
NCOC has decided to announce these holidays from 3rd January 2022. But for a winter vacation in Punjab 2021, Dr. Murad Raas has decided to invert that decision. I have explained this above, and you can see it here.
KPK Winter Vacations 2021:
The KPK government issued this notification on 17-12-2021. So, in the notification, the elementary and secondary education KPK has modified the schedule regarding winter vacations academic year 2021-2022. Therefore, the KPK government has decided on both plain areas and hilly areas as follows.
Plain Areas of KPK: 3rd January to 12 January 2022
Hilly Areas of KPK: 24 December 2021 to 28 February 2022
Balochistan Winter Vacations 2021:
The Government of Balochistan has issued a Notification of Long and short Winter Vacations from 15 December 2021. So, the secondary education department of Balochistan issued it on 02-12-2021.
However, the government of Punjab is under a serious smog situation. However, the Punjab govt has not issued such a notification. When they will issue it then I shall share it among my valuable visitors.

In addition, the number is SO/Admin/15-21/2021-Edn:31933-84. Therefore, Balochistan secondary education has confirmed the date of winter vacations. But there are two types of holidays in private and public schools of Balochistan.

In other words, there are two zones. Therefore, the government has announced long and short holidays in this regard.
- 15 December 2021 to 28 February 2022 Long Winter Vacations
- 22 December 2021 to 31 December 2021 Short holidays for summer zone
