The controller general of accounts has issued a Chart of Accounts Head Code Letter for Special Allowance 2021. So, the government of Pakistan has updated the correction slip 532.
However, the Punjab Finance Department has announced it earlier on 07-07-2021. Therefore, the special allowance 2021 is admissible to the employees of Punjab from 1st June.

In addition, all employees of Punjab from grades 1 to 19 who are not receiving any cadre or service-specific allowance will get this allowance. So, a new head account has been created here. Therefore, the Punjab employees will receive this allowance under the head code given below.

At last, the finance secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo gave a media briefing. So, he said that the government has issued a new notification regarding special allowance. Now the Punjab employees will get this allowance with arrears in September 2021.
Therefore, all employees are happy that they will get this allowance with arrears soon. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo said that this is an allowance for those employees who have not gotten any additional allowance before.
