Service Rules 2014 Amendment for SSTs – School Education

The directorate of public instructions has issued a letter regarding service rules 2014 amendment. So, DPI (SE) has issued a letter No. 6990/AD(C-I) on 31 December 2021.

However, the DPI has submitted this letter to the secretary school education department Lahore. It is attention for section officer Promotion-II.

In addition, the government SED Punjab is collecting working papers for promotion from BS-16 to BS-17. Before that, they wrote a letter on 23rd April 2020. In this letter, the government said to collect working papers for promotion.

In other words, the school education will promote the secondary school teachers. They are working in the BS-16 regular. Therefore, the government will promote them as headmaster, deputy headmaster or subject specialist.

Similarly, they will submit it before the departmental promotion committee. PPSC has not recruited any SS (subject specialist since 2017. Therefore, the government will promote 67% SSTs on in-service quota to fill the vacant posts.
