KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has decided to keep educational institutions across the province closed till May 23.

According to Express-News, the Sindh Education Department has decided to keep educational institutions across the province. It including Karachi closed till May 23 instead of May 16. In this regard, provincial education minister Saeed Ghani has issued a statement. He is confirming that all educational institutions across Sindh will remain closed for teaching till May 23.

Saeed Ghani said that in view of the current Corona situation, the education system has suspended from May 17 to May 23. However, educational institutions will remain open during this period. But children will access online classes, WhatsApp, e-mail, and other means.

Education will continue, while the head of the educational institution, the principal, or the headmaster will call some teachers and non-teaching staff.  They will ensure full implementation of the guidelines issued in November 2020 regarding the educational syllabus.
