Time Scale Promotion Clarification 2019 Finance Department of Punjab Govt.

The Punjab government clarification Finance department has issued Notification No. FD.PC.40-12/2017 on 20^th December 2019. This notification is about the time scale promotion of stagnant posts BS-16 & above.

This notification has sent to the concerned department for further necessary action.

It has clarified before on 19^th April this year. So, that has also clarified on different occasions regarding time scale promotion. Now it has also clarified with the matter what is time scale promotion. So, the govt has said as per Finance Department clarification that it is a time scale personal up-gradation. In other words, read it as personal up-gradation of a government employee of Punjab. So, it is not a regular promotion. There is a reference for different letters here in this clarification which has been issued before.

In the 2^nd clarification, it has been cleared by the finance department that if there are a few numbers of posts in the upper tier then what to do. Finance department authority said that it would mean in this regard that less than or equal to 10% posts are in lower-tier than upper tier.

However, it is not a time scale promotion notification 2017. This notification has updated in 2019. So, I shall say time scale promotion notification 2019, not time scale promotion notification 2017.
