Professional Tax 2020 Deduction in Salary Slip of Employees

Professional Tax 2020 deduction is an article here. So this tax is a tax on any profession in Pakistan.  Similarly, it has implemented by the Finance Department in the act of 1977. So, the professional tax has deducted on any profession income or earnings. It should be deducted on the employment of the current financial year. In addition to any tax, it may pay to any tax or duty.

This tax is directly deducted from the salary slips of government employees but the applicants may visit the office of excise and taxation for submitting this tax personally. There are different offices in different cities of Pakistan to collect such types of taxes.

The applicant must attach the following documents to submit in the office.

In return, a certificate will be given to the taxpayer.

The professional tax of teachers has deducted before in the month of April and October every year. It was about 100 rupees in these two months and a total 200 rupees per annum. After coming of the PTI government it has decided that it does not deduct the professional tax because employees are deducting income tax in the financial year or so. This type of tax has shown in the deduction section of the salary slip of each employee of Pakistan. Recently notification has issued not to deduct this amount from the salaries of the employees of Pakistan.
