Higher Education Summer Vacations 2019 and Public Holidays in the Punjab

Notification No. SO(A-II)1-1/2001(P) by Punjab Government Higher Education Department dated 08^th April 2019 regarding Higher Education Summer Vacations 2019 and Public Holidays in Punjab.

In pursuance of provisions contained in Article 37 & 41 of the Punjab education code, the following schedule of summer vacations 2019 Punjab will be observed in all the educational institutes public or private and universities of the province of Punjab during this current calendar year 2019.

Punjab Summer holidays 2019 has been given here in summer vacations notification as given below,

7	Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday	*Eid-ul-Azha 10th Zil Haj 1440AH*	12th, 13th, and 14th August 2019
8	Wednesday	Independence	14th August 2019
9	Monday and Tuesday	*Ashura 9th & 10th Moharam 1441AH*	9th and 10th September 2019
10	Monday	*Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi 12 Rabi ul Awal 1441AH*	11th November 2019
11	Wednesday	Quaid-E-Azam	25th December 2019
12	Thursday	after Christmas	26th December 2019 (For Christians only)
